News 8’s Carlo Cecchetto grew up in Hawaii
but is more than happy to live in America’s
Finest City, where he and his wife have been
lucky enough to raise two daughters.
He’s a multi-Emmy award winning
anchor/reporter who has seen it all in his two
decades working in San Diego.
He's covered disasters, from fires to floods, and
been inspired by the spirit of San Diegans lifting
themselves and their neighbors back on their
feet.
That spirit is what inspires him every day on the
job and is why he works to give back to the
community in any way he can. That includes
his enthusiastic and ongoing support of Boys &
Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego.
