Building Better Club Experiences
Facility & Safety Improvements
Over $1,439,767 in improvements were made across our 12 clubhouses,
including:
Clairemont Branch Entrance: Relocation to improve safety,
accessibility, and the overall experience for members, families, and
staff.
Oakes Branch Playground & Lunch Area: Renovated outdoor
space to give members more opportunities to play, connect and
stay active.
Youth Wellness Program
Piloted mental health wellness program at two locations. The program is
managed by a licensed social worker and utilizes interns from local
universities.
Camp Smarties
Implemented online learning program to boost math and reading
confidence, comprehension, and a lifelong love of learning. 1,106
members participated and averaged 22 skills mastered.
Strengthening Our Organization
Strategic Plan 2026–2029
Developed a new three-year Strategic Plan to guide BGCGSD’s
priorities, growth and impact.
Expanded Digital Marketing
Partnered with a marketing agency to strengthen BGCGSD’s digital
marketing efforts and expand awareness of our mission and programs.
Expanding Our Reach
New School Site
Launched a new after school program at Valley Center Middle School
with the goal of serving 130 more youth each day.
