2026 An Evening of Changing Lives Sponsorship Brochure - Flipbook - Page 3
Letter from the Event Chair
Dear Friends of the Boys & Girls Clubs,
I am deeply honored to chair the 2026 Evening of Changing Lives, and truly grateful to share this event with all of
you.
Every time I visit the Club, I am reminded that each child is on a journey — one filled with possibility, challenge,
and moments that shape who they become. And like any meaningful journey, it is not meant to be walked alone.
For the thousands of youth who walk through our Club doors each year, the Boys & Girls Club is where that
journey begins. It is where self-discovery takes root. Where a child finds the courage to try something new, the
voice to speak up, and the confidence to believe in what they are capable of. Sometimes all it takes is one
opportunity, one mentor, or one moment of encouragement to set them on a path they never imagined.
I have seen firsthand that the Club is where friendships
are found and where young people build connections
that lift them up. Side by side, they learn empathy,
teamwork, and the power of showing up for one
another.
For many of our kids, the Club is a second home - a
place they return to each day knowing they are safe
and valued. A place grounded in consistency and care,
and in the belief that who they are becoming matters.
Because at the end of every journey, what matters most
is knowing you have a place where you belong.
“Because at the end
of every journey, what
matters most is
knowing you have a
place where you
belong.”
There will be twists and turns along the way, moments that call for courage, heart, and determination. But with
the right support, every child can find their way forward and discover that everything they need has been within
them all along.
Your generosity ensures that no child has to walk it alone. Because of you, they have a place to grow, to connect,
and to come home to.
Together, we are building something enduring: a community where every child has the support to discover who
they are, the friendships to sustain them, and a place to always call home.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
With gratitude,
Beth Piner
